I’m happy to present the 2008 Summer Games on Google, a site that features a number of our products to help you stay updated on Summer Games happenings. And it’s available in 66 countries and 31 languages, from Australia to Uruguay, and from Arabic to Vietnamese.

Also available is a Google Gadget which can be used to Check event schedules, track the medal count, and get up-to-the-minute news – right on your Google homepage.

Earlier, Blogoscoped also wrote an interesting post describing the Google Olympic Hack. To get latest information about the next upcoming event, all you need to type is <name of sport> olympics. For eg. to get information about the upcoming hockey match, type in Hockey Olympics.
