How-To: Show Time & Date in System Tray

This post has actually been derived out of something that one of my readers wanted to know about. The question raised was about a simple step to Show both Time as well as Date in System Tray.  This tip/How-To is only and only applicable for Windows Users. 🙂

In order to get both If you would like both the Date and Time to show up  in the System Tray rather than only the time entry, right-click on the Taskbar (do ensure that Lock the Taskbar  is deselected) then drag the top edge of the Taskbar upward until it snaps to twice its normal height. The clock displays three lines rather than one, showing the current time, the day of the week, and the current date.

Thats it.

  1. Everyone can tell me how to put both time and date up, but all I want to show is the time. That’s all it use to show, and now I can’t seem to get rid of the date out of the systray, and have to have the taskbar at level 2 or 3 to see what icons are actually in there now.
